Diving a Twinset opens the door for some more serious diving, increased depth and duration are now at your fingertips. For those diving in a backplate and wing the transition is fairly straight forwards, for those who have previously dived a regular jacket style BCD the difference perhaps a little bigger. RAID is an exciting young agency with a very forward thinking approach to dive training and modern education, their programs are in-depth and fairly demanding in comparison as well as recognised worldwide.

The Twinset Foundation program is a combination course, it introduces you to how to set up, dive, and control your twinset as well as giving you an introduction to technical diving, procedures and team roles. We will go through set-up, valve flow, valve manipulation, long hose set-up, long hose use, and basic positioning in the water.
This is a 2 day program with a certification at the end, this course was written by Oli van Overbeek, and thus you'll be training with the course author!

The RAID performance diver is specifically aimed at those who have never done a RAID program, it's a general overhaul on equipment configuration, buoyancy & trim, propulsion, basic gas donation, etc.
This program can be done while wearing a twinset, and you will learn how to dive the twinset as well as manipulate all valves. This officially qualifies you as a twinset diver.

Twinset Deco 40 - Limited Trimix
This program introduces 10min of decompression to your diving, and as such is the RAID version of decompression procedures or advanced nitrox. All students must have a redundant gas source, which a twinset is providing the valves can be manipulated. We will use a limited trimix option for this course. This officially qualifies you as a twinset diver.

Twinset Deco 50 - Limited Trimix
This program introduces 30min of accelerated decompression based on a normoxic trimix back gas and 1 accelerated decompression gas. For those with a higher SAC, a 2nd stage is added with a bottom mix.
This is a fairly beefy course and asks for good buoyancy and trim.
NOTE: We only let students enter this course who we have been in the water with prior.

Twinset Deco 60 Normoxic Timix
If you've completed your 50m trimix ticket and have gained some experience you can steam on to this level. We will review all skills and take you to 60m for unlimited deco, and 2 decompression mixes (and potentially 1 bottom mix), this is an expedition grade course and best done in warmer waters.
