Detailed Course Modules & Prerequisites
The RAID Advanced 35 program starts with either a pool session or a morning at Capernwray, were we make sure you remembered everything right from your Open Water Course, it then branches out into 6 dives. These dives cover core subject matter from a variety of specialty programs (and will count towards them should you wish to fully complete them)
• 2x Deep Dives
• 1x Advanced Buoyancy workshop (dive)
• 1x Navigation Dive
• 1x Rescue workshop
• finally there is one choice dive, you may discuss with your instructor what is available and what you feel would compliment your training
The SDI Program start with an MOT day at capernwray, we get to check out where you are at and where you can improve, this is done over 2 dives and will end with some feedback on equipment, configuration, and skills. You and your instructor then plan out 4 specialty course you wish to complete. You will also be expected to have completed at least 25 dives at the end of this process.
This is a longer route for sure, but a slower and steadier path with guidance from your instructor, the Advanced diver certificaiton is truely earned through this procsess.
Benefits of Advanced Certification
Either Advanced training options are designed to propel you forward in your diving ability and understanding and would be a good choice depening on your time and availability.
Other than the above you will also be able to join more complex and deeper dives, as well as laying the foundating for entry level technical training or rescue training!
